Arrays

This morning Jake shared his items from his "me bag"!

 Then we found our partners for the first 9 weeks. We had to find a partner for each color!

 We started science off today by working in groups to think of a definition for science.

 Then we worked with a partner to solve a puzzle!

We learned that solving the puzzle is a lot like how scientist work. They share their ideas with each other to make all the pieces fit! We were then given an extra piece to our puzzle to fit in. This is like new information that scientist get and then fit it into their research!

We started math with our first UPS Check of the year!

In math today we reviewed what an array is. An array is an arrangement of a set of numbers or objects in rows and columns.

We worked with partners to find arrays in the classroom!

 We recorded the array on paper and wrote it's dimensions.
