Natural Resources at Home

Today in science we talked more about natural resources. We learned more about nonrenewable resources and why they take so long to form!
We wrote in our journal about the different types of natural resources we use from the time we wake up to the time we are in science class. For example, we use water when we brush our teeth in the morning and fuel when our parents take us to school. We came up with 3 examples for each resource!

Today in math we learned a new way to subtract! We start by making a number line. Then we subtract the hundreds value, tens value, and the ones value. The last number we land on is what it equals!

We practiced a few examples in our journals then we went to our stations for the day.
