Integrity Leader

Each month at Rogers we focus on a characteristic that would describe a leader. At the end of the month, the student who has shown that characteristic is picked to represent our class and be on announcements. The month of September was integrity: knowing the right thing to do and choosing to do it. Cade was chosen as our leader this month! Way to go, Cade!

Science CBA

This morning in science we took our CBA!

 Because of the CBA, we only had time to work at stations today in math.

We also met with our book buddies! Our buddies are from Mrs. Tibuni's 1st grade class!

What are the Multiples of 30?

This morning Brandon shared his "me bag"!

Today in science we presented our Superheros! We will be taking our CBA tomorrow!

Today in math we reviewed factors and multiples. First, we found the multiples of 3. If we could find the multiples of 3, we knew that we could find the multiples of 30 by adding a 0! We know this because we are multiplying each multiple by 10, which is what we have been practicing this week!

We practiced our own number in our journals!

Who Wants to be a Millionaire?

This morning James shared his "me bag"!

This morning in science we played Who Wants to be a Millionaire? The questions were over weathering, erosion, and deposition!

 We worked as a table to get our answers. This was helping us review for our CBA on Wednesday!

 Today in math we learned about multiplying by 1, 10, and 100. We learned that anytime we multiply by 10 we add a 0 to the end. Anytime we add by 100, we add two 0s to the end!
